#00U Uganda ii - Washed | SL28 & SL34 | Red Apple, Strawberry & Milk Chocolate

from £10.00

Uganda

Producer - Sironko

Varietal - SL28, SL34

Process - washed

Tasting notes - red apple, strawberry and milk chocolate

Centuries ago, local tribes found the Sironko River—meaning 'solace' and 'peacefulness' in Lumasaba—during a famine. Today, a washing station in Budadiri subcounty uses this river to process coffee cherries from nearby communities.

The Sironko team offers Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) training, farming supplies, and seedlings to partner farmers. They also run women’s and youth empowerment programs, workshops on resource ownership, and help form savings and loan groups to support long-term community stability.
